Employee Spotlight: Malta Language Roles

Meet Leendert

"Hallo! My name is Leendert, and I'm originally from the Netherlands. I've been with bet365 for 3 years now, having moved here from my home country. I began my journey as a Customer Account Advisor and was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to progress within the company by taking a secondment to Induction.

After a couple of months, I transitioned into a Team Leader role, and since last year, I've been working as a Supervisor in the Rest of Europe Customer Service department. In this role, I'm responsible for the Dutch team and also provide support to the other language teams.

Working at bet365 is wonderful as it allows me to engage with a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Having such a diverse team enables me to learn many things from my colleagues, and I can now proudly say "Hello, how are you?" in 10 different languages!"

Meet Manon

"My name is Manon and I joined bet365 about 8 months ago. I initially started in the Customer Support Department, but after 5 months, I was given the opportunity to assist the Translation Department, where I've been working since.

From the beginning, I truly appreciated how considerate and welcoming the company was. The training was comprehensive, lasting 12 weeks, ensuring everyone received the necessary support to work efficiently. Management always seek our feedback to drive improvements and ensure everyone feels good and well supported in their role.

I was excited to join bet365, as it's one of the largest betting companies in the world, and I feel proud and grateful for the experience they are offering me. It’s a company with strong values, where you can grow quickly and learn continuously – as demonstrated by my own journey from Customer Support to Translation in just a few months.

The environment here is amazing. It's multicultural, offering the opportunity to meet many interesting new people from around the world. Communication is excellent and there's always support available when you need it. You’re never alone and what I appreciate most is that our opinions truly matter."
