Candidate Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating a candidate account or using Jobs Europe (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms form a binding agreement between you and Jobs Europe AB ("we", "us", "our"), organization number 559370-9347, Sweden.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

5. Job Applications

5.1 Submitting Applications

When you apply to a job on the platform, your application data (CV, cover letter, screening answers) is transmitted to the employer. By submitting an application, you confirm that all information provided is truthful and accurate.

Applications are final once submitted. You cannot edit or withdraw an application through the platform after submission.

5.2 External Applications

Some job listings link to external employer websites or applicant tracking systems (ATS). When you apply via an external link, your application is governed by the employer's own terms and privacy policy. We have no control over and bear no responsibility for external application processes.

5.3 Employer Communication

There is no in-platform messaging between employers and candidates. If an employer wishes to contact you, they will do so outside the Service using the contact details included in your application.

6. CV and File Uploads

You may upload files (CVs, cover letters, screening question attachments) in PDF or DOCX format, up to 10 MB per file. By uploading files, you confirm that:

We store uploaded files on your behalf. Uploaded files are deleted when you delete your account.

7. Profile Visibility

If you enable the "looking for job" toggle, your profile status may be visible to employers using the platform. You can disable this at any time in your account settings.

We do not display your full profile or personal contact details publicly without your explicit action (e.g. submitting an application).

8. Job Alerts

You may subscribe to job alert emails. By subscribing, you consent to receiving periodic email digests matching your preferences. You can unsubscribe or manage your preferences at any time in your account settings.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time via account settings. Deletion permanently removes your profile, uploaded CVs, cover letters, and personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Submitted job applications may be retained for up to 12 months after a position closes, as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform — including job listings, company pages, design, and software — is owned by Jobs Europe AB or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute platform content without our written permission.

You retain ownership of content you upload (CVs, cover letters). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit it for the purposes of operating the Service.

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of Swedish courts, with the Karlstad District Court as the court of first instance.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when required by legal or operational changes. Material changes will be notified in the application. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
